Halloween BOO Bag
I made Halloween bags for my grandchildren using the Kids Can Sew Camp Collections #2 Fun Bag pattern. It sews up in a jiffy and is just the right size for fun at Trunk or Treat or visiting the neighbors!

How to make your letter pattern:
I use Microsoft Word. Find a letter you like. I used MS Gothic and sized it to 600. Next I changed it to outline only. To do this, highlight your letters and right click your mouse. Look for “FONT” in the pop up box and click. Under EFFECTS you will choose outline. Now your highlighted letters look more like patterns and you will waste less ink. You can also flip your letters (which is called a mirror image) when you are ready to print. Look at your printer options, you will find a mirror image box.
Cut out as directed in KCS Camp Collection #2.
Using contrasting fabric I ironed on paper backed fusible web, then used my outlined letters to cut out the word BOO. Next I ironed the letters in place on one side of the bag.
Then sew using your zig zag stitch along all edges of the letters. Next follow the KCS Camp Collection #2 directions for assembly and you have a perfect size treat bag!
